Introduction to Lecture: This lecture will Introduce the construction of embodied-cognitive translation based on the localization of Western cognitive linguistics into embodied-cognitive linguistics, and try to explain the phenomena in translation based on the core "embodied-cognitive principle" featuring "reality-cognition-language": to explain “sameness” in translation through “embodiment”, and the "difference" in translation through "cognition". Embodied-cognition emphasizes the "interactive experience" and "cognitive processing" of translation, with the former being "embodiment" and the latter being "cognition". The former is "body" and the latter is "recognition"; "Recognizing and Interpreting" emphasizes the construction of conceptual meaning in translation, including the degree of detail, jurisdiction, context, perspective and prominence. The steps of translation (understanding - mapping - creation of imitation - paraphrasing) proposed by embodied-cognitive translation are regarded as the translation process, and the embodied-cognitive recognition and interpretation of the translation process is explored.
