Conforming to Measures for Implementation of Overseas Doctoral Graduates Recruitment Project provided by Jilin University, College of Foreign Languages is seeking three doctoral graduates of renowned overseas universities in the fields of English language and literature, Japanese language and literature, Russian language and literature, Asian & African languages and literatures, Spanish language and literature or other related disciplines.

Basic Qualifications

To be a successful applicant, you will be:

(3) equipped with necessary professional knowledge, communication skills and researching experience.

Professional Qualifications

Applying for Category A faculty, you need to be under the age of 40, a doctoral graduate of a renowned overseas university, and with more than two years of overseas working experience. Meanwhile, to be a successful applicant you need to meet the following specifications:

(1) outstanding academic quality proven by solid theoretical and empirical knowledge as well as active and peer-reviewed contributions to your areas of expertise;

(2) a strong record of recent publications in domestically or internationally renowned academic journals;

(3) a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain an active research program;

(4) a demonstrated ability to teach the core modules of your area of expertise;

(5) academic publications in recent three years shall be sufficient for the professorial requirements provided by Jilin University.

Applying for Category B faculty, you need to be under the age of 35 and a doctoral graduate of a renowned overseas university. It is desirable that you have overseas working and researching experience. Meanwhile, to be a successful applicant you need to meet the following specifications:

l outstanding academic quality proven by solid theoretical and empirical knowledge as well as active contributions to your areas of expertise

l evidence of academic potentials and capability to teach undergraduate modules.
